Did My email send? Should I send it again? HELP It was an important email!?

I sent an email to my ex best friend ending our friendship. Why through email? I don't see her but once a week and when I do theres no time to pull her aside. So I sent the email yesterday through hotmail but its not showing up in my sent file. I saved the email incase something happens and when I click where I saved the email it says sent at 11:03am so why isnt it showing in my sent box? I dont want to send it again if she got it. She never replied but she never replies to my emails anymore anyway. I don't know if she got it but I don't want to email her and ask her. Help please!

What e-mail program are you using? We need more info to help you. It SHOULD save in the sent folder, unless you have that option disabled.

Edit: Here's a surefire way that you can make sure that it was sent...

Have you ever noticed under the "To" area (where you put the e-mail of the person that you are sending the e-mail to) that there is a CC and a BCC area? Well, that dates back to the era of Carbon Paper. CC means "Carbon Copy" and will e-mail it to both the "To" and the "CC'd" person.

Why CC someone? This shows that they may be relevant to the e-mail, but shows that they are not the main e-mail that the e-mail was intended for. The CC'd person and the To person can both see that the other one received the e-mail.

Now BCC stands for Blank Carbon Copy. Same as the CC, except the BCC'd person can see the To and the CC (if you put one in) recipients, but no one can see the BCC'd people, not even the other BCC'd people.

Try resending your e-mail, but put yourself in as either the CC or the BCC, so you will receive a copy to confirm that it was sent out. Hope that this helps you.
Reply:I'd just assume it was sent and if she continues to talk to you call her and tell her or pass her a copy of the email when you see her...
Reply:Assume she received it. You said she never replies to

e-mails anyway. Just let it go. She klnows the friendship is over anyway.
Reply:ok that is so weird... email her and ask her and if she said yea... then don't bother sending it, if she didnt send it.. simple
