How do I verify my email address here at Yahoo?

I am trying to enter an "Alternate Email" address in "Member Information" of "Yahoo! ID Card" under "Yahoo! Account Information". I entered a valid Hotmail email address, and Yahoo sent me an email to my Hotmail address, asking me to "Verify Your Email Address". I clicked on the link as instructed, but it directed me to a site that says "Sorry, the page you requested was not found." I also tried to go to this website as instructed "http://login.yahoo.com/v/recv?06c81b" with similar result.


Now, how do I verify my email address because in case if I somehow forget the password to my Yahoo email address, I want Yahoo to be able to send it to me.

Try changing the alternative address to a different address. You can do it in your profile page.
