Yahoo send password to my alternate email address?

I think someone hacked into my email account.

My answer to my security question is now invalid ~ I am assuming they changed the answer? Can they do that and wouldn't I have received an email stating this in my alternate email?!?

I checked my alternate email account (that I used when I registered with yahoo) and there was an email stating that my password had been changed. It did NOT state what it had been changed to! HELP!

Can yahoo email me the password to my (verified) alternate account so I can reaccess my main email account?

AND / OR

Can yahoo email my (now changed ~ not by me) answer to my security question - again by sending it to the alternate email address on file that I registered with so I can get back into my main email account?

I can still get into my alternate email account!!

yes you can change your security Q yahoo proveds a link to do that BUT you must know your security Q to be able to change it ...

a hacker/cracker does not change the Q as they do not know the original Q ... they change the ZIP

If the thief has changed your ZIP .. once the thief changes the ZIP .. the recovery process anywhere though yahoo is useless. It is this new ZIP that Yahoo will recognise in recovery, not the original one you used when making the account.

If someone has changed your secret ... it is someone who knows you and your info ..... someone you gave it to or someone close to you.

Yahoo will NOT "state" and password in a pw notification change through email, or any personal info change.

Your alternate email is not the main player in this problem .... YOUR ORIGINAL INFO used when making the account.

So many people do not realise you do not need to sign into geocities and otehr sites to view pics.

Make sure you have a good password, something with letters and numbers in it. The yahoo generated passwords are the hardest to crack.

Do not give your personal info out online e.g birthdate, zip code, etc

Reply:Ok I know I can answer the 1st part of this question. Not sure about the rest. I know for a fact that there is no possible way to change the answer to your question. Perhaps you are typing it in wrong. Remember that when you type it in the 1st time, it takes things literally. By that I mean if the answer to a question like "What is your mom's name?" and you answered HoPE.. you have to type it in as HoPE.. you can't type it in as hope or HOPE because it is case sensitive. Its also the same with spaces and different kinds of punctuation. They want to make sure that no one gets in. So if you make a new account, then make sure to make it a simple answer that you remember but not something so obvious that someone else can guess. I hope I was some help to you.

How do I stop email from uploading?

I accidently tried to send an email of 80mb. It remains in my outbox trying to be uploaded and has completely blocked all other incoming and outgoing mail.

Attempts to delete the 80mb email are unsuccesful as the meassage comes back that the programme is being used (obviously by the large email). I need to delete it completely from my email to free it up for other email.

Veyry often I receive emails from porno sites where is other recepiant email address. stevanie_runninghawk@yahoo.com I just add one address but I receive every day few of that kind emails. How people from Africa specialy Ghana, Nigeria and other got my email address. Do I have any privacy or protection form that people. So I spend my memorie send this emails to blocked or spam folder that I is post to not receive that kind of emails. So please scan emails and I want to receive emails only with my email address not others plced in my inbox file. Please block all emails coming from Africa in my email inbox folder.

Geez, I sent an email to a friend tonight and................?

it could not be delivered. The funny thing is that we had been emailing back %26amp; forth just about an hour before I sent this last email. It got returned, so I resent it. It got returned again. Said something about a failure notice. So, I composed a new email and tried to send it, but it got returned, also. Thinking there was something wrong with my email, I composed another email to someone else and it went through. Why would this happen? Does anyone have a clue? I just sent two more emails to two other people and they both went through. I just tried to send another email to my undeliverable friend and the same thing happened again................said it was undeliverable. I am perplexed.

It probably means that the server is down or your inbox is too full.

Can you show a different email address with Yahoo mail whilst using Outlook 2003?

I currently have a .com and want to use this as my email address for my company. I'm looking to use it with Yahoo but when I change the [Email Address] under [User Information] in Outlook, the sending of emails fail.

When the recipient recieves the email I want the email to display my .com email address instead of the Yahoo email address, thus keeping it looking professional.

Can this be done with either Yahoo or Yahoo Plus?

I have been away overseas for about a year working. I have stayed in touch with all my kids, but my oldest is the closest. I just rec email from her saying my xwife is tellin her she got an email from me saying i was not coming home. My daugther who is 16 wants to come live with me, I say sure. I emailed her back and said I never sent such an email and that I will be there. She was very upset, but I did not send such an email. What can I tell her??

Don't stress it's not that big of a deal. If you can call long distance, call her perhaps, and let her hear the honesty in your voice. Tell her you love her and you want her to come live with you. She's your daughter and shouldn't believe what your ex wife says.

When sending a email to multiple people, what is the difference between putting a bunch of email addresses on "to:" or putting them on "cc:" For example:

OR

To: lala@yahoo.com

CC: blabla@yahoo.com,haha@yahoo.com, hehe@yahoo.com, huhu@yahoo.com

Okay,to start with, the first person your mailing to that you pick from your address book has to be in the "to" box, i.e." "them @ domain.com. After that you have "CC" and "BCC".

CC stands for carbon copy and BCC for Blind Carbon Copy. When you choose CC, the others will show in the email. If you choose BCC those addresses will not be others. Example:

To:blabla@yahoo.com CC:hehe@yahoo.com

BCC:haha@yahoo.com

When they receive your email, they will bw able to see that it was sent to blabla and will show CC: hehe but since haha was put in BCC, they wont show ono the e-mail.

Other people can't see who it was sent to when sent under BCC.

Reply:There isn't a difference. I've always seen it as one of those thing where you are sending an email to one person and then realize "Ohh wait so and so shoudl get it to" and you CC them. Like at your job (office) you send something to a person but you may also CC you boss, so your boss knows what is going on.

Now BCC is different BCC is a blind copy. If you BCC someone the people on the To: and CC: field don't see who is on the BCC.
Reply:No difference... unless the recipient has some sort of filter that differentiates where their address appears. (i.e. puts email "to" him in one folder and email "cc'd" to him in another.)

Since around 5pm on 2/27, I have been have a problem sending emails from my Yahoo address. I am receiving mail, but when I want to forward them to my other email address on a different server, they get sent, but I never receive them at the other address. I checked with my ISP server and they found no problems at their end. I emailed Yahoo for help and have yet to hear from them (takes 24 hours).

Is anyone else having this problem? I can't even send it from one yahoo email address to another yahoo email address.

I have email and attachment problems?

I type an email then select send. I end up with a blank email box. I select the return arrow in the toolbar and my email reappears. I repeat theis process several times until it sends.

My other problem is attaching files. Similarly it accepts the attachment sometimes after several attempts. When I select "continue with email" I loose the attachment or if it eventually saves it after several attempts then the address dissappears. I then tye the address and select send. Sometimes it sends and other times I loose it.

looks to me as a server or a yahoo mail service problem

try using another id of yours and then send the same mail with the same attachments

if it is successful then it is definately a yahoo service problem and will be solved soon

if it does not happen then u know that there is a problem of uploading attachment files to your server and u can contact ur network service provider
Reply:Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. Suggested cures range from Update Adobe Flash Player and Javascript to clear IE7 cache, cookies, and browsing history. Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send recieve delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. Found an email from another girl addressed to my fiance......what should I do?

First and foremost I am going to admit that I am wrong for snooping in my fiances' email trash box. I normally wouldn't have gone so far as to look through his mail until I saw an email from another girl with the subject line "Hanky pank wear". My curiousity got the best of me and I kept looking through his trash box only to find a couple more email from this girl by the name of Bree. I wondered who this girl was so I started to read and found that she wanted him to email his memories of her so she could write a story about memories they shared together in the past. The other email I just spotted today was entitled hanky pank wear and she wrote him saying "hanky panky underwear--google it NOW! I was a little confused but thought light of it since we just got engaged two weeks ago. I was curious and decided to check out his email settings and saw that he filtered her very email to skip to inbox. What should I do or think? I think this is a bit shady....what do u think?

Emails go to your in box if you DON'T filter them.

IPhone not sending email using Yahoo with Ameritech.net email address. Anyone know how to fix that?

My email address is an ameritech.net email address which technically is a yahoo address now (we had internet with ameritech before it was bought by SBC before it was bought by ATT). I just use my whole email address to login to yahoo. Well I bought an iPhone and one of the main reasons is because of the push email with yahoo. I get it, set it up and everything works fine. Well somewhere along the line (I think the 1.0.1 update) I can't send email. I still get the emails. When I send an email, it makes the sound like it sent an email but it doesn't go anywhere. Not to the recipient or the sent box. I signed up for a plain old @yahoo.com address to see if it was all of yahoo or just the non-@yahoo.com addresses and the @yahoo.com address worked fine, so it seems that it is just the non-yahoo.com users who arent working. Anyone else with a non-yahoo.com account and an iphone with the same problem? Anyone know of a work around other than using pop? Thanks!

That's the reason why i think people should wait more to buy things like the Iphone because when it comes out at first there will be technical problems that need to be fix. and if you wait longer when they fixed the problem you can buy it and use it better.

For example: The playstation 3 if they would it wait a bit longer they wouldn't waist to much money because the price drop and they made a new PS3 of 80GB that cost the same as when the first 60 GB ps3 came out.

Scenario: User A and User B both have email accounts on the Microsoft Exchange server. They both work for the same organisation and the email accounts are accessable via the web. Their email is not hosted inhouse but outsourced.

User A knows User B's email password. If User A accesses User B's email account, is there any way User B can find out that it was User A that accessed it (ie by contacting IT Support and finding out the IP address's of machines that have accessed their account)?

yes, contact the IT department, they should be able to tell you the IP's that have accessed the account recently. (that is assuming thier servers actually log that info. and thier smart enough to find it for you!)

My yahoo account of 10 yrs has been hacked. They changed my email, and my alternate email. I don't remember my secret answer. I've email yahoo a dozen times, and they ask the same thing and do nothing. I've called yahoo directly twice, and they told me to send an email. Now what? I'm desperate to get my email back. Why does my email send others email without my knowledge??? This is causing a big problem.?

My girlfriend gets email from my email address and sometimes it's from women friends, but by the time the email gets to her without my knowledge, there is more written in the email body, which makes me sound like I'm having an affair. Why is my mail email send her things like that. Would I be better off deleting this email address and starting a new one. This has been going on for months now....Please I need help..

Get a new e-mail with different passwords and delete your old one. Tell your friends what happened so they will know you are no longer using your old e-mail. Sounds like somebody you know that had access to your computer is playing games with you. One way to steal your password is by attaching a little 2" cylinder to the back of your computer that records all your keystrokes. Then the person could visit you on another day and remove it and he would have all your passwords. People do that to library computers. The device is cheap and readily found on the Internet.

You do realize that your e-mail and other on-line accounts can be accessed by any computer not just yours.

After years of having a yahoo email account, when I open my email, it won't show me if I have already read an email (like when it highlights it), it won't show me if I have already foward and email ( arrow) or the returned/responded to an email arrow...(the green and blue ones). I keep receiving email from Mysavingsnow.net even though I've opted out to receive email. I've tried to contact the company but the email message was bounced back undelivered. They say that they maintain a "ZERO SPAM POLICY" but they won't stop sending me email messages even though I've opted out MANY TIMES! I've marked these messages as spam but they still come to my inbox (and to my junk mail spam box too!). How can I get them to stop sending me email or how can I get the email to stop being delivered to my inbox? It's ridiculous!

then click on your address book and then in there is a link to import/export center. download the CSV file to your hard drive.

The so-called "419" scam (aka Advance Fee fraud, "Nigeria scam" or "West African" scam) is a type of fraud named after an article of the Nigerian penal code under which it is prosecuted.

Typically, victims of the scam are promised a lottery win (example) or a large sum of money sitting in a bank account or in a deposit box at a security company. Often the storyline involves a family member of a former member of government of an African country, a ministerial official, an orphan or widow of a rich businessman, etc. Here is an example. Variants of the plot involving the Philippines, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Korea, Iraq, Kuwait, UAE, Mauritius, etc. are also known. Some emails include pictures of boxes stuffed with dollar bills, scans of fake passports, bank or government documents and pictures of supposedly the sender.

Though most of these scams use emails sent in English, we also come across emails translated into French, German, Italian or Spanish, as well as English and French letters by postal mail, usually mailed from Spain.

Back in the 1980s (for this is nothing new!) the main vehicle for this scam were fax machines.

The victims are promised a fortune for providing a bank account to transfer the money to. Then - if they fall for the scam - they are made to part with thousands and sometimes hundreds of thousands of dollars in "fees" (taxes, insurance, legal fees, etc) before the "partners" finally disappear without trace. The promised fortune is never paid out, because it doesn't actually exist. Here are some typical examples of advance fee demands.

Sometimes fraudulent cashier's checks are issued to the victims, who are asked to wire funds for various charges after the bank says funds are "available" from the check. Check can bounce even after they have "cleared" and then the person who deposited is fully liable.

I often receive emails which have HTML content with images, links etc... Some of them look really fantastic and my Yahoo email reads it perfectly.......

I consider myself pretty savvy when it comes to HTML and CSS, but for some reason, when I made my own 'email stationary' and send it to my Yahoo email to test it, the images in the HTML document (even though they are reading off another server) arrive as attachments.... Any tables or non-image content shows quite well in the email, but all images are not visible and are in the 'Attachments' section of the email....!!!

REALLY FRUSTRATING!!

Only when I change the settings in Yahoo to accept and view al HTML / IMAGE content does it display it as it should ---- STILL ALL IMAGES are in attachments also...

Here is what happened. I wanted to send my resume to a company I looked up. They didn't have their HR email on their website so I called them to get an email to forward my resume. Fortunately at that time the HR lady went to lunch and the director or "co-founder" picked up the phone and I told him that I didn't find the email etc, online and need an email I can forward my resume to. He decided to ask me what I do and my experience and courses so I told him everything and he told me that the spot that was open has been filled but he is looking to hire someone to assist his engineering department. He said I fit the description of what he is looking for. Then he asked me to forward my resume directly to him and said he will see. He seemed very impressed and interested. That was 1 week ago. Would it be okay to inquire about it? Should I email and ask him what he thinks? If not, when should I email him since its been a week? What should I write in the email? Its an engineering company

The reason why it is taking so long to get back with you may be their HR procedures - for example, the position which the co-founder suggested you may not have been formally approved within the company. Or his project plan (including hiring one person) has not been formally finalized wihtin the comapny, etc.

Thus the delay in reply probably have nothing to do with your qualification for the position, so pls don't get depressed at this point. (or the gentleman has been on vacation or on biz trip all week, or some mix-up happened, and he did not receive your resume... who knows?)

Since it is no use speculating about what's really going on, if you want to get more information, you could send a "reminder" e-mail.

You should not sound desperate in the mail (e.g. don't try to sound as if it is the only job you are applying for, even if it's true!), and you do not need to explain anything in detail.

I would suggest to write sometihng like;

Thank you very much for ... (e.g. kindly explaining me about the XXX position last week on the phone in your busy schedule).

Reply:This is definitely a scam. I used to work for a major bank for 4 years and I saw a bunch of these. There are a couple of obvious signs with these.

The first, and most obvious is, do you remember entering a drawing of some sort? Nobody automatically enters you into a drawing, you first have to agree to all the terms of the lottery.

Second, most of these e-mails will have improper use of the English language or obvious spelling errors. Your e-mail in the 3rd paragraph from the bottom says "Winners are advice..." instead of "advised". If this was an official multimillion lottery, there would be no oversights like this, ever.

Third, these scams are always international. The two most common ones you'll find are Great Brittain and Africa. Most British ones will use the lottery scam and will sometimes copy and paste logos from major banks, like Barclays (I've seen that one many times). The African ones will usually say something about your mutual friend recommending you as a trusted source for financial transactions, and they need to transfer millions of dollars of legitimate funds to U.S. because of some problem with the banking system or the government in that particular country (usually South Africa). They will send the money through your account and you keep a percentage.

Fourth red flag is when people ask you to reply with your information. If you truly entered this lottery, they would already know your name and age. In future e-mails they will ask for more information, perhaps the birthday and social security number, so they can do identity theft, or your account number and routing number so they can steal money from your bank. They'll probably tell you they need the info so they can wire the funds directly to you.

While we are on the subject of online scams, there are two other ones that I used to see at the bank a lot. One is an e-mail that looks like it's from your bank or credit card company, saying that your account information has probably been compromised and you need to follow a link to update your password. Never follow a link in an e-mail to enter your info. If your account is, for example, with Chase bank, you would need to go to www.chase.com and log in through there to update any information you might need. Most financial institutions will not send you links in their e-mails for that exact reason. This scam was also very poplular with Ebay and Paypal.

The last scam we've seen a lot is with Ebay and Autotrader. People will send you a cashier's check or postal money order in exchange for merchandise or car. The check is fake. In case of Ebay, they'll usually send you a check for more, like $3,000 for a $2,200 item. They'll say that they sent you too much by mistake and since it's certified funds and you know they are good, you need to send them the difference along with the product. One thing that people don't realize is that cashier's checks and postal money orders can be faked, and the bank won't know right away that they are fake, so if you have a good account with them, they won't hold the check and give you instant access to the money. So you think the check has cleared, but in fact the bank just gave you immediate credit for the money they have not collected yet. Once they realize that the check is bad, a couple of days down the road, they'll have to debit your account for the full amount and you'll have to pay them back every penny of it or ruin your credit.

My Yahoo! email account would not accept my password. I have not changed it. Even so, I asked for help to remember' it, and it said it doesn't have enough information to do that. From another email account, I sent an email to 3 of my various email accounts. The one to my Yahoo! account came back, with the message that there is no such-named Yahoo! account.

I suspect my account was hacked.

An apparently totally non-active account had linked to mine.

It had no questions, no answers, no fans, %26amp; no other contacts.

I watched it for a few days. One day, it was no longer listed as 1 of my fans, but was listed instead as 1 of my contacts!

I NEVER chose it as a contact!

Immediately, I deleted it.

After signing out of my account that day, I have not been able to access either my email or Y!As accounts. My Y!As account, profile page is still accessible to view, however. So, I guess it is still intact.

The links below are a few law places with opinions about publishing a private e-mail. It recommends a statement such as "Email sent to this address may be published or made public," etc. The copyright of the e-mail is owned by the sender or the sender's service provider (if sent from work).
Reply:Unless the content is copyrighted you can "publish" it.... if it was sent to your Blog (depending on how it is set up) you may even be able to include the whole thing including the senders email add. However in this litigious age, caution is the better part of valor.

I would say if you are quoted and a reference is made giving you credit for saying it that would be OK ... unless the material was copyrighted. However, there are moral and ethical boundaries that many people would ignore, but because the material was not copyright gives you little legal recourse. For example, if the email was sent to a colleage or a friend and was in turn published without your consent, that seems very inappropriate. The problem with anything on the internet is that it is prime game and easy to re-publish the beauty and the downside of the internet.

I am baffled at how spammers get access to my email address. I diligently click on the unsubscribe option at the bottom of each email. However most of the time they are from the same organization promising to remove your email from their list. I am left to wonder if it is even worth the trouble of consistently doing this. Moreover some emails dont even have that option. I sometimes wish there is a forum or website out there in the WWW where it is possible to add email addresses shown where the message is coming from or where these phishers ask unassuming consumers to reply to in the hopes that once enrolled they may get their own spam mails and clog their own networks. Am I alone in this plight?

Reply:I opened a "junk" email. I forward spam to it, then do up an email, copy theirs completely, then send it to them... at least 10 times, usually 20, sometimes 50 times.

If you enter a lot of contests or use your email for signing up for lists and things like that, use an email acct. separate from your main acct.
Reply:Every time you hit unsubcribe you identify yourself as an active account. That will be sold to other companies.

Use another account for a time.... your ISPs one or another freemail account for a time. The only people who have your main account is friends or family. And not ones who send jokes and such. Eventually your spam will whittle down.

I keep receiving an email back on Yahoo whenever I send out an email..?

I always; immediately receive an email back from Yahoo, stating that they cannot send the message. With every single email I send out. It's frustrating that I cannot use their email service anymore as I can only receive emails but not reply. Has this happened to any of you? Someone stole my credit card and made a purchase online, they used my personal information, except they created their own yahoo email account to use in the registration. Who do I report this to at yahoo? Do they care? Can I get the ip address used to register the email account and forward it to my credit card company, since most credit card fraud is never pursued by card companies? Usually anyhting over $50.00 you're not responsible for. yYu might be surprised at how vigorously card company fraud is looked into. I'm sure Yahoo cares. As to where to go I wish I could be of help. Hotmail/email problem. Again.?

Have a problem with this email. 2 months ago I sent an email to someone, and I never heard back from them. I just assumed they were ignoring me. Reply:You or the person who's not getting your e-mails may have blocked one another. Go to your account options and check what e-mail addresses you have blocked. Ask the other person to do the same, and that will solve the problem.

Suspicious email from unknown person and unknown website?

i got an email today saying i posted my resume on a website. which i did not. i posted my resume on website "x", and today i got an email saying that someone was replying to my resume i supposedly posted on website "y". i never posted my resume on this site that the email is claiming. how can i find out how to stop these emails or find and contact the owner of the website? or how can i find out if someone is copying and pasting my resume?

This is most likely just a phishing scam, which is basically deliberate spam, sometimes with malicious intent (virus). To be safe, do not click on any of the links this email sends you, and dont open any attachments it sends you. In fact, its probably best not to even open the emails. As soon as you get them, delete them.

There is no website 'x' or 'y', the people just made the websites up! (I know the websites arent called 'x' and 'y', I'm saying the actual websites they sent you are probably scams).

If you have hotmail, I know there is a button at the top of the page to 'Report Phishing Scam', which may or may not bring the annoying, perhaps hazordous emails to an end.

Until then, try and isolate the emails from your regular Inbox, perhaps move them to junk or mark them as 'unsafe'.

As for the resume, if it isnt online anywhere, then the chance that your resume is being copied and pasted by someone is slim to nill. I wouldnt worry about that too much.

Reply:somewhere on the website, if you have callingID, it will tell you the address to the website, unless they hide it, and you can send them a letter through via mail (this isn't safe), and you could contact the website owner that way. Change your e-mail address?

Which email product/email account/desktop is better..google or yahoo?

ok,, i'm debating on whether i should go with yahoo or google based on its products (like chat, desktop, "widgets" etc) and the general email accounts. I like yahoo because it feels like i'm in a community. it's home page is very busy. google is just plain and boring. but i think yahoo can be too technical sometimes so when i check email, there's some technical stuff to do first (at least it feels like it) i like google desktop, but it's sorta slow unlike yahoo desktop. over all i like the yahoo design better. google mail is faster too. what do you think?

Well, I have both of them and use both daily. Google is definitely faster and chat is convienient if your at work because it blends right in with your e-mail, which is important if your at work. Google is plain, but their search engine is a lot better and Yahoo's search engine is powered by google. I do like the set-up of Yahoo better as well. My suggestion, get both and use google's chat and yahoo's home page and e-mail.

Dreamweaver Email Forms?...AGHH?

Experienced web designers I need your help! I have designed a site in dreamweaver and everything looks great. The only problem I keep having is trying to get my form to email the results ( I have tried everything! Bought php %26amp; asp.net form to email dreamweaver extensions and tried jmail) I have constantly been unsuccessful.

I have used frontpages forms before, and have NEVER had a problem with recieving email results.

Does anyone else have suggestions? Do you think its possible for me to make the form page in frontpage as well as upload it through frontpage and tie it to my dreamweaver site?

I would need to see the generated code. If you are using PHP, its a simple call to the mail function. (see source.)

Basically, it will be a form in html which will submit to your php script which will process the post information into the mail() function.

Provide a little code, and we can take a look at it.

The other option is to use a purely javascript form, but I've never been a big fan of client side mailing forms. Its best to queue those messages to be processed at a later time using a server script.

I really hope someone can help me.

I had my myspace hacked before and it was done by someone I know. They wrote very personal things on there that lost me quite a few of my old high school friends. Anyways, about a month ago I had reason to believe the same people were trying to mess with my life again (they were sending me emails and trying to start arguements). I quickly changed my email to my myspace so it would be harder (or impossible) for them to hack it. I made up a yahoo account for it. I wrote the information on my laptop so I would remember it. But somehow it got deleted!! now I need to change my email for my myspace. I got to the point where myspace sends the confirmation email but I can't log into the yahoo account to get the confirmation! I tried every password I could think of. I went to the "Lost Password" page and they asked my birthday, country and area code. I dont konw those because it was a fake account, I put all fake answers so they couldn't find it.

i have another yahoo email adress, and i would like to know why it wont let me sign in.

it says that its incorrect password and email combo but i use the same password and email everyday. i didnt change it either.

so i clicked on forget password and i type in my yahooID and say ive never used a credit card and it says not enough info. is there some reason that my account got delted? if so is there anyway to get it back becuase i have very important emails in there retaining to stuff from teachers, projects, and reciets?

My yahoo email is the new kind with the cute blue background and all fancy with the little guy that keeps telling me to clean up my in box lol. I hope this was enough info for you guys to recognize what I'm talking about. I want my email style to go back to its classic view but I don't know how. Every time I click on the button switch to classic view to read emails faster It works for a while but then when I turn off my email and log back on it still stays the same with the blue background. Yahoo is there to help use. I use HELP all the time. You can also call Yahoo Hotline 1-866-562-7219. Or this number 1-800-699-2466. And or 1-866-562-7249. The more we BUG Yahoo. Maybe the faster they will FIX THE PROBLEMS.

Reply:I have AOL, I had that problem when my husband died. We didn't know his password. We had to set up a new account because we couldn't get into the old one. I even sent them a copy of his death certificate.

My daughter forgot hers, but all we had to do was give them some basic info; however we did have to use the phone to finally make them understand.
