Roger primary email question?

I don't know if there's Rogers internet service in America, but they have this system where there is a primary email address and secondary email addresses that comes with their internet service. That email address is receiving unbearable amounts of spam, thus wasting hard drive space because I use an email client. Anyways, I want to delete that email address to create a new one. Does anyone know if I can do that, or will I disrupt the secondary email addresses and screw everything up?

Or if no one knows the answer to that, I have a better one. If anyone uses the email client 'Mail' in Mac OS X, how to I customize my junk mail filters? An answer to either of those questions would be great.

Roger primary email question?
When Roger's primary accounts start being bombarded by spam, the option to change the primary e-mail account address to a different one becomes the only option to kill all the spam.

I called Rogers support, and the let me change the primary account to a different address. They also explained that it would not affect any of my secondary accounts, and it didn't ! Bear in mind, your old address will be erased, while the new one you choose to replace it with will have a password of PASSWORD.
Reply:Switch to Windows.
