Sorry friend but there is no Microsoft, Yahoo or other e-mail lottery, it's a scam do not answer do not give personal information. The following sites give more information

http://www.snopes.com/crime/fraud/nigeri...

http://www.thescambaiter.com/forum/showt...

http://www.hoax-slayer.com/email-lottery...

.Also If you go to the following site you will get some info on ID theft www.identity-theft.org.uk the iinternet is safe enough if you are careful but please answer nothing that you are doubtful about.Good Luck and be careful
Reply:Well, the address is genuine - it is the HQ of Camelot who run the Natioanl Lottery

Unfortunately, the email is fake - I bet you haven't apid anything for a ticket so how can you have possibly won anything?!
Reply:Just delete the e-mail, it's a scam. You have not won anything. If you actually answered the e-mail they would send you another probably stating something to the effect that they will send you your winnings after you send them a check for covering something or other.

Dateline NBC has done quite a few stories on this very subject and about e-mails just like this one. Here's the link to their website and the information about their investigations about the scam's.

Reply:This is obviously a scam.

Firstly their using a hotmail address rather than a lottery address.

Secondly the lottery pots are never round numbers.

Thirdly you there's no such thing as random email selection lotteries.
Reply:This is a scam, delete it and do not reply to it at all, since the scammers will then know your email address is "live" and you will get more scams in your inbox.
