When i email someone my husband's name comes up on the email with our user ID how do i change it to mine?

I tried to change it but i can't get to it. I use this email now not him. I change the name when i log on but when i email my girlfriends his name comes up not mine.

You just need to change the "from line" name.





Mail page%26gt;%26gt;options (top right)%26gt;%26gt;scroll to and click on "general preferences". At the top of that page----erase the name that shows on the From line (his) and type in something else (yours)---or a nickname or an alias or whatever suits you-----then click "save" at bottom of page.

Reply:I don't think the user ID name can be changed. You can have an alternate user name and email contact address, and that can be changed. Go to options, mail options, general preferences, and change it there at the top of the page. Also, you can choose which alternate name and contact information to use and display in your yahoo 360 messenger. Go to your 360 messenger page and click settings. From there you choose your preference, then remember to click save, or save and continue.

Reply:you need to signout first his account and then go to www.yahoomail.com, then if it appears that the email address of your husband still appear then just click the change to a different user and then you can type now your own email address then sign-in.....thats it....thank if it doesn't solve your answer then you can ask me again....ok....
Reply:What you want to be done can be easily done, but we will need to know the program you use to send e-mail, e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Hotmail, etc.





The process will be largely the same for each but we can tell you specific steps if we know the tool you use.
